Prof Teeling welcomed Michelle Power from Macquarie University to the BatProtect UCD team on the 8th May 2026.

Prof Teeling was delighted to present on "Bat, new models, healthspan and disease resistance" as an invited speaker at the Birkenmeier Distinguished Lectureship in Genetics and Evolution on 27th April 2026.

Prof Teeling was delighted to be awarded the Bennett J. Cohen Award for her research in aging by the University of Michigan on Friday 24th April 2026, which she accepted in person.
