Bat sampling carried out by a team of UCD researchers: Sterenn Blineau, and Ines Jover Bravo.  

The researchers went to bat swarming sites, which are places where bat species go to mate before they go into hibernation, but the bats don’t live there. The researchers saw many different bat species and male species, because the bat sampling fieldwork during the summer months, are colonies with mainly females only.
