Bjoern Schumacher delivered the keynote lecture at the Novo Nordisk Lighthouse Innovation Summit held on 21st – 22nd March 2026 at Frankfurt, Germany.  The summit discussed mechanisms of aging, interventions for healthy aging and how biological clocks could help us to identify geroprotective outcomes of preventative medicine.  Bjoern called on scientists, healthcare professionals, and innovators from academia and industry alike to team up to resolve the major societal challenges that age-associated diseases pose.
